Bad ice storm here this evening!
OMG!!! and what usually takes a 10-15 minutes to get home took us 3 flippin hours!!!
There were accidents everywhere, bridges and roads closed, it was horrible. Poor Aaralyn was at school until 7:30 tonight along with many other kids because of it. The regular public schools were closed already do to voting today, thank goodness or it would have been worse ðē
Mike and Amber are stuck in DC now but things have gotten better so hopefully they'll get home soon too! My boss drove us home today so glad she did good and got us all home safely ð even if it was 3 hours later!
Then we got home and Aaralyn had a fall on the stairs coming up to the door cuz it was like a sheet of ice. She was ok but scared to try to walk up them again so I carried her and thank goodness we both didn't fall.

On the down side, I bet the Emergency rooms are packed with people with breaks and sprains, because I saw 3 different people fall on the icy side walks on my way into work this morning ðē
omg!!!!! i watched a programme about ice storms a few months ago and ive never seen anything like it. must be awful
