pox

looks like casey has chicken pox (i know this should go in parenting but theres more) hayden's due his 8week check and injections next week but wont be able to go if he gets chicken pox.

i have to get me and casey in to docs asap well more me. i have an extremely low to non existent immune system at moment and wont be good if i catch it. apparently the encephalitus is related to chicken pox. and if youve had encephalitus then get chicken pox its really really bad.

so yea were having a great month. to top it off were all full of cold to. lol.

Gosh, you can't get a break huh! Good luck getting through this latest bout of illnesses... you do what the Dr's say and keep from getting the chicken pox so no more hospital stays for you!! 😘

have you had encephalitis then hun!! my mum had it in 2001! she was in hospital for months and the doc said theres a high chance she wont pull thru! it left her with epilepsy but on her last ct scan it showd the shadow had gone so shes now been cleared of that.i dont know anyone else who has had it before!

well thats what theyve said they think and even when nurses were discussing it thats what they were saying. aswell as when i moved to 'normal' ward one of the nurses daughter was also called charlotte and had it the year before, she was was only 3 (she pulled through and is fine now).

im awaiting results on the epilepsy, am on anti-epilepsy drugs at the moment(note to self go take tablets). will hope fully find out more next time i see doc at hospital. they caught mine early coz of my seizure.

i really hope i dont get the chicken pox, but i will have already been exposed to it for at least a week, i was gonna escape to my mams for awhile but its pointless really.

id called nhs direct on the sat morn they said hang on till monday if u can, id also been to urgent care they said it was low blood sugar. if i hadnt had the seizure i wouldnt be here.

its all i talk about at moment but is starting to annoy me, i just cant help it its always on my mind.

it was awful with my mum - theyd been to london on the train for the day and i was at home waiting - she phoned my to say they were calling the chinese did i want anythin,i said yes.anyways,mum and dad got in - no curry! i asked mum where my curry was and she said she didnt remember phoning me! so i went back to my room to play on my computer.dad went out and then mum came up to me and said in this really childish voice 'where your dad, where your dad gone' i asked her if she was peed! and she didnt understand what i meant! she then stomped out the room in a kiddy like tantrum as i was laffin at her (i thort shed been drinkin!) next thing i herd her downstairs throwing things around and screaming - i ran down stairs and the room was a mess, she sat on the sofa and handed me her mobile and sed 'i dont know how to use it,show me' i said,what your phone? she said 'me sane me sane' by now i was starting to worry a little! she then ran upstairs to the bathroom where i could here her being sick! again i thort yep,shes defo been drinkin,so i went up to her with some water - only she was in the dark,i turned the bathrrom light on where she screamed at me to get it off as its was hurting her eyes! i then told her to get into bed where she did,and she passed out! i phoned round for my dad couldnt find him anywhere,phoned both my sisters, within seconds they were at the house,i then phoned 999 where a emergency doc came out within seconds and he checked her for diabetes incase she was having a glycocemic do - but shes not diabetic! he then told me to phone 999 and to say that the doctor orders an ambulance immediately - by this point my mum was in a coma.ambulance came they carried her to the ambulance and i went with her,my dad and sisters followed up in the car.in the MAU ward she came round - screaming at the nurse who was trying to put the blood pressure peg on her finger as she was saying it was hurting - then she was out cold again.she stayed out cold for almost a week.that night the doc took us to the relatives room where we were told to pray for her as it looks like we were losing her.iv never seen my dad cry til then!

when she eventually came round - it was another 2 days before she knew who we were! it was my sis debbie she recognised first,and it was her she kept asking for.i was 16 at the time and i had just started my job - which wasnt far from the hospital and so every day i finished work and would sit next to my mums bed til my dad got there.

enchepalitis is an awful thing and i dont wish it on anybody - its apparantly caused by a coldsore virus,travelling along the wrong line and going to ur brain rather than your lip! something so small can do so much damage!

mymums better now,this happened in 2001.the only problem now is that anytime before then she has no memory of - her memory has slwoly come back thru lookin at photos and things - but theres still alot she cant remember before 2001!!
