im back.....and well

well dont know if youd noticed i was gone but ive been absent for 11 days. ill tell you the story but its quite long. if quite patchy.

1st day was just coz i was out for the day then stayed at my parents.however it started that nite, i developed the shakes after bein unable to eat properly. was very funny watchin me tryin 2 drink. anyway went to bed had a very bad night with hayden, he slept all of about 40mins.

i went downstairs sat mornin shakin all over, carryin hayden down was not fun my legs arms and hands were shaking. so my dad got mam up to look after hayden (casey doesnt leave her grandad anyway) parents were really worried so made me ring nhs direct. i think they said take some paracetamol, if i feel worse go to urgent care if it stays the same carry on till mon morn then go see gp. however mam then spoke to her nurse friend who said no get to urgent care so we did. (with breast feeding we didnt want me ran down)
in urgent care they checked for mastitis but decided it was low blood sugar as that was only 5.5. so was told go home and eat lots of sugary things often. so went home and mam bought me a pizza and sweets n crisps n stuff. then put the pizza in for me. i had 3slices of that and thats the last i can remember until wednesday.

what ive been told is,

lee came and brought us home about 4:30 i didnt pick up much, must have gone to bed quite late on about 11-12. then he heard me fall out of bed or something and came up, i was being sick. so he rang my parents (who were out on the drink, they came home knocked my cousin up who brought them through) in mean while lee rang nhs direct who sent ambulance, when paramedics arrived i started to have a seizure. just after paramedics got there so did parents mam and lee got in ambulance dad satyed with kids until they could get lees sis over about 2am. ( my cousin also had to search around for baby milk and ended up goin to the hospital for some bringing it back then taking my dad to the hospital and sleeping in the car till 5am.)

now i dont know much, guessing i started in a&e was moved to HDU then in to theatre (think all that happend there was i was put under sedation and put on life support) then to moved to ITU. while i was out they did all sorts of tests and decided on something called encephalitis, which they said was like menegitus but rarer n worse.

they tried waking me up afew times on the tuesday i think but decided i wasnt ready. so i was left until wednesday. i have 3 memorys from wednesday i just dont know what order there in. one is my nana and mam sat next to me. another is my mams friend comng to see me and a nurse asking him if he always wears shorts. the third is the nurse nearly dropping a machine on me.

now am a little confudled coz i had alot of info thrown at me so i cant remember if it was wed or thurs that i moved on to a normal ward, still with tubes and things in me.

the nurses on the ward i know were lovely, cant say anything bad about them, they even put me in a side room so i could have the kids in any time, thru day. i was luckily in that room till this mornin when it was needed. the rest of the ward was old people mainly.

while ive been in since waking ive had an mri scan and an eeg as they now suspect epilepsy. so thats what im being treated for, unfortunatly results arent back yet bt i would rather be safe than sorry. however this means i cant drive, have to inform dvla and theyll take licence away and if im fit free for a year ill get it back. i also cant drink on the tablets.

but im alive and i feel ok on the whole just gotta take it easy. for me the worse things are the 10 days in hospital, the fact i cant drive, n cant drink, im also no longer brestfeeding for 3 reasons, i was away from he for so long, a small amount of the drugs may pass to him, he took really well. the last abd thing they cut up my newcastle shirt lol.

😘 OMG hun,how awful for you and your family that must have given you all a fright!!So glad you are doing much better now.When do you get your finall results?Take care of your self hun and hopefully you continue to stay on the healthy side. 😘

get the results in 4weeks, so should find out if im actually epileptic and have to stay on tablets.
my parents and lee spent pretty much every moment over last week in hospital with me.

theyve been so scared, lee had just stopped smoking we were all so proud of him but its sent him backwards.

just to make it worse on the sunday they had casey in hospital aswell. shes had cold but she started to shake. she was fine enjoyed playing in the childrens ward. i was just cold. i wasnt told until about sat.

omg hun, so glad you are ok now, my heart skipped a beat when i was reading that, was so worried for you! i hope you get the results you want.
i had childhood epilepsy and can't drive as a result, but havent had medication since i was about 12! it's not as debilitating as people think, so try not to worry.

OMG!!! I am sooooo glad you're ok... How horrible for you and your family to have gone through this but gotta say again I'm soooo glad you're ok 😘 I'm sorry for whay you'll be going through until you get through this but you will get to spend more time with the kids anyway.

OMG I'm glad you have come through this, hope your family are doing well too now. That must have been absolutely terriffying for everyone to see 🙁
