Intensive driving courses???
i was learning to drive for a yr - had my own car for 3 years which i have drove almost everywhere in (with someone who can drive!) iv even been on the M6 - oops!! 😊 but i failed 2 tests - because i just cant master reversing round a bend nor can i master reverse bay parking (why u reverse into a bay i dont know - how the hell do u accesss ur boot if its touching another car or a wall!!!) i only actually sold my car last summer!
anyways - kevs got some money coming to him in a few weeks and hes asked if i would do a intensive driving course - and i was just wondering if anyone else has done one? from what i gather u have constant lessons over about 1-2wks and then u have ur test - thing is,kevs been told its a gauranteed pass - but i aint too sure, with me having alot of previous experience iv been quoted £190 as theyre aying id only need roughly 10hrs of driving but even so - am i gauranteed to pass my test?
hopefully one of u have done it and know what im on about lol!
i booked one for my ex he had 15 hours of lessons including his test and i think it was over a 7day period with 2-4hours of driving a day and he passed his test straight away i think they focus on your weak points and sort them and just refresh your memory on the rest. his cost over £300 though and that was for a test booster course.
if i was u hun id get in fast as they are actually stopping these and bringing it in that u need to be having lessons for at least a year before u cn go in for ur test - dont know when its coming in but its soon

Hi hun, there's no guarentee that you'll pass, its all depends on how you perform on the day. I think its a good idea that you go for the driving course because you will have picked up bad habbits from other people that maybe why you've failed twice already. I'd advise you to try to forget everything you've already learnt and pretend you've never sat in the driving seat.
Good luck hun if you decide to do it. 😀 😀
I had a few lessons then stopped as I couldn't afford it. About 2/3 years later I took an intensive course and passed my test first time with just 3 minors so it definately worked for me. I say go for it.

My hubby did an intesive course over a couple of weeks when he was 20 (due to his shifts it was over 2 weeks, and how his test fell, I think it was only about 15 hrs at the most) and passed. i think it cost around £150 in all, but that was nearly 6yrs ago now.
He did a lot of driving...ahem without a licence 😊 and had already done some lessons when he was 17 and failed his first test on a reverse around a corner.
I would go give it a try
And reversing it a good skill to have (It is actually easier to reverse into a bay than reverse out!!) and there should be enough room to open your boot
so nobody knows of anybody failing one then!! lol!!
i just dont want kev paying out for one if its possible to fail and i go and do just that lol!

I passed my test 1st time 2 days after my 18th 3 and half years ago. Started my lessons as soon as i was 17. my instructor was so dragging my lessons out, i was ready way before he put me in for my test. I probably had 70 lessons... just milking more money i say!! 😛 😛
