trouble sleeping

does anyone have trouble sleeping but not because of having a bump?
im 27 nearly 28 weeks and i just cant sleep, im sooo tired but as soon as i get into bed i ping to life. for the past two weeks ive been watching the most boring tv programes at 3am

Ive only had trouble sleeping since being pregnant-have found that a hot milky drink does work tho!! x

Oh yeah I had real trouble hun when i was pregnant too! I was pregnant during a really hot summer and I had to sleep with the fan on, drove my hubby nuts it whirring all night and then being kicked in the back by baby lol!

Unfortunately it didn't really get any better until baby arrived each time, then (especially with no.2) I didn't get much sleep then either 🙁

Just use plenty of pillows to rest bump on and try to have a relaxing bath or a warm milky drink before bed 😘

i can be sitting downstairs falling asleep and so i go bed - i get undressed get into bed and im wide awake!! i think its a change in the air of the different rooms and things - i dunno - wierd aint it!

yeah, i feel dead tired so i go to bed and cant sleep. ive started going to bed when my 5 year old goes and i watch a film or tv in bed, it doesnt help. i watched steve irwins autobiography at 4am this morning!!

Hi hun, I can so relate to the non-sleeping thing... I never slept (ok maybe an hour or 2 a night 😉 ) when I was pregnant, from beginning to end... I don't think I really started getting good sleep at night until my daughter was about 3 years old 😲

It's just your body preparing you for all those sleepness nights after baba comes 😉

my first prgnancy was fine, bit of morning sickness thats it, oh apart from the mad craving (loo roll)
this one has been awful up to now though, lack of sleep makes you forgetful, grumpy, im totally brain dead lately.. oh well, only another 12 or less weeks to go 😴 😲 😴

yep loo roll, sometimes i'd run it under the cold tap first!! sick or what haha, i tried it after my daughter was born and it made me feel sick.. weird thing is, ive started looking at it again wondering if i should try a bit..

whoa, that is the craziest one I've heard too! I saw loo roll and thought nah, she can't mean toilet paper! My gosh I wonder what on earth would make you crave that!? I guess my craving hot sauce when I was pregnant doesn't sound so strange now 😉

hate to admit this but ive just had a little nibble to c if it tastes as good as what it did with my first pregnancy... a nibble turned into a few pieces..
trying not to eat anymore as ive got the scented type at the moment 🤢

and i'd much rather be nibbling on bon jovi lol
