Sick Sick SICK!

Well it started with Ana in the wee small hours of Saturday night, then Corinna lunchtime Sunday, Jon Monday teatime so I was feeling nervous when would it happen to me. didnt have to wait too long, 1am and I was just as bad. Unfortunately that meant that both the adults of the house were puking up and neither of us were in any position to watch the kids. Thank goodness it was all night so they slept through it. We both got plenty of rest today - Corinna was an absolute star and watched the baby a fair chunk of the day, even giving him his mid-morning bottle cos I could barely stand....

I have finally eaten a slice of toast and am keeping down paracetamol so am starting to feel better - looking forward to my bed tonight thats for sure!

I hate being sick and I hate being tired :-(

🤢 There's nothing worse than a sickness bug ~ I don't EVER remember having as many when I was a kid as I've had as a mum 🤪

🙁 Oh no! Hope you feel better soon! It sounds like it's that Winter Vomiting Bug, Rob and I both got it on Christmas Eve of all days.. I was being sick once an hour all night! Most people I know in Norwich got it too.... It usually lasts about 24 hours, meaning by about 8pm on Christmas day we both felt OK. Ruined my Christmas dinner though!! The thing that I found settled my stomach (believe it or not!) was lemonade!!

I know, it sounds mad, but it worked!! I remembered my Mum giving my lemonade when I was feeling poorly once when I was little, and I felt so ill & desperate that I thought anything was worth a try! It worked - I'd been sick about 8 times already that night, but once I had the lemonade I wasn't sick again!!

gosh il have to remember that one not that im sick very often touch wood i guess anythings worth a try when you feel so awful and if it works all the better

OMG hun theres nothing worse than a sickness bug, especially when everybody gets it.

ive heard that about lemonade, but i was told it had to be flat 🤢

well we are all up and getting back to normal - no school or playgroup for the kids this week so didnt get a lot else done but I'm now back on the jaffa cakes..... 😊 didnt take long did it?!!

Yea he is too!!! I have acute bronchitis and he has a right inner ear infection. we are both dying!!
