Home improvements are finally happening
The people that are doing our outdoor entertainment area (veranda) showed up this morning instead of friday to get started. My dh and i are so excited i cant believe after living in my home for 12 years im finally seeing things happen lol.
Last year we got all our concrete layed this year we are doing all the entertainment area,then i guess when we save up again we will gut the inside of the house and re decorate(it looks so 80's)lol 🤢

as for the 80s style decor - i know the feeling, we started sorting our house out before xmas - and still doing it now!! (altho we did take a break the wk of xmas and new yr!)

I cant wait untill its all done i love having bbq's and just chillin outside all nite.
yeh lol! we still going for it!!! its takin time but slowly turning into what we want! its just a case of accesorising things too now - which i keep browsing the net and just cant resist buying lol!!!
PMSL i think my dh has a fever when he hears the words E-BAY/buying of the net etc lol.

Im dreading when we do the inside of the house,i cant cope with the dust and mess especially when the bathroom gets done 😲 but i guess i can always go camp out at my parents place and bug them for a few weeks lol.
err... nope!! nowhere near done lol!! we havent even started on the bathroom and kitchen - which im dreading the ripping out of cupboards lol!!!!
Awww never mind hun at least you wont be stuck in the 80's for much longer pmsl.
I dont think we will start ours (indoors)until next year.I have exams in may and with our lo due in July i think this year is out of the question financially and physically lol. 🤔
yeh hun - that was our reasons for not doing it before now! then it was ethan was too young, but now its got to the point where we keep makin excuses not to do it we just thort we had better start it now or we never will lol!!

We need a new kitchen and boiler but funds say no at the moment. The cupboard under the sink is bowing and the doors touch at the top but are miles apart at the bottom lol. The nieghbours hear out boiler rattling away on a night 😊
