Please read

I've deleted some posts this evening - which I hate doing but I hope members can understand why.

There's a few members with concerns about new members - what with the troubles we've been having recently with fake members, however I've yet to come across any evidence linking those concerns with the banned members in question, and believe me when I say I have access to a lot more data than most on this site and am fairly good at sniffing out a trail of evidence!

I agree that there are similarities and reasons to be suspicious, but I'd request that any concerns about members are PMed to me in private rather than posted on the forums, so that they can be dealt with in the correct way. I appreciate that some people are pretty angry about the fakers, but can you imagine how terrible it would be to attack an innocent person if that turns out to be the case?

I promise to investigate any concerns that members have in detail, but I can't condone public lynching (no matter how funny the comments were ;)) as it's bound to end up with innocent people being targeted due to shear bad luck coincidence. (even if that's not the case in this instance)

I hope those effected by my 'moderating' understand.

In response to a post a moment ago (also removed, sorry) - If these concerns turn out to be correct then I'll be more than happy to let people make it clear how they feel about being lied to!

😀 Thanks Rob it just sucks that we have to have genuine members upset.I fully understand why you deleted those last few posts and if i have to apologise to anyone then i will but i cant help getting that (we are right on this one)feeling. 🤔
