A week in the life of.....

Hey peeps, just wanted to share a little of my week with ya since I haven't done much posting lately...

Monday was Amber's 17th Birthday, but on Saturday night we celebrated. Amber and several of her friends, her Mom and step dad, and 2 half brothers, 2 half sisters, Mike's mom and dad and his brother and family, Mike, myself and Aaralyn all went out to a really nice dinner at Amber's favorate resturaunt, was excellent time. Then Amber and her friends got treated to about 5 hours in a super stretch Hummer limo ride 😀 around different places and went to see a Christmas Festival of Lights at the harbor here. Mike didn't throw her a sweet 16 party so he went all out for her 17th!

We went and got our tree on Monday and decorated it on Wednesday (first night we could all be together to do it!) We have a very pretty Christmas tree although was a little bitter sweet for me because Marc has all of my Christmas decorations and is being a total jerk about me getting them back (he really turned out to be not such a nice guy after all 🙁 ) Any way some precious, priceless, irreplaceable things of mine that he has no need for.

There's been a some adjusting here and some little bumps in the path to be expected when you combine a family with a 2 adults, 17 year old girl, 4 year old girl, 3 dogs and 4 cats LOL... but we are all working our way through the adjusting pretty well 🙂

I have been working lots of hours which is great because I may be getting the boot after the day after Christmas, not sure yet if anyone seasonal will be hired on permanent, but I have been invited to come back there in March when the Spring gardening season begins.

Aaralyn is loving her school and I'm very happy with them so far... she even has homework now! 😲 and she loves doing that, it makes her feel like such a "big kid".

Mike and I are doing great, I think I love him more every day, i know that sounds cheesy but it's true, every day he does or says something that just makes me think, "damn, I'm a lucky girl"! 😀

So now that I got ya'll caught up with me, what's going on with all of you.... I know, dumb question, Holiday craziness is going on probably. I hope you are all safe, well and happy and ready for Christmas, Yule or whatever ya celebrate!

Happy Solstice and Happy First Day of Winter too (even though it's probably the second day of winter by the time ya read)

Amber and Mike are out Christmas shopping tonight and then Mike and I are going tomorrow to finish up while Amber, her "new" boyfriend (dumped the other one a few weeks ago and had a new one the next day LOL 😉 ) and Aaralyn bake some Christmas cookies at home!

Ummmmm, one other little thing, but I'm sure I'm just being paranoid, but I'm a few days late for my AF and Mike and I did not restrain during a time that we should have since I cannot take contraceptives. Anyway, he didn't "release" 😊 in me but that's not always a safe bet 😕 , sooooo hmmmm this would not have been in the plans at this time and we had kinda decided that at our age and our kid's ages maybe we would just be happy with the girls we have. I know that if I did end up preggers we'd both be ok and even happy about another little one, I know we'd make a really cool kid and Mike is an awesome Dad so I know I wouldn't have to worry bout that 🙂

Anyway, like I said, I'm probably just being paranoid because of the timing of our fun 😏 and I'll probably get AF tonight, but I do have this tugging little feeling that tells me I may not 😲 I'm gonna wait to do a test for a bit and just see if AF comes for a visit soon, then maybe take one 🤔

Hey jo jo, did you have little crampy feelings and nausia kinda right away, like with in the first 2 weeks after you conceived your little one/s?? My Ariolas (sp??)seem bigger too?

YEP i sure did i had all of the above,most of all i noticed i was tired and my boobs hurt like hell and nausia GOD dont get me started lol are you having all these symptoms??? 😏 I thought i was getting my AF as i was cramping for about a 2weeks after i was due.

yea, I am... but it could be pms symptoms too 🤔 the nausia has not been horrible but just kind of a constant slight nautias feeling more in the evening and light headedness.... but I would only be about 2 weeks into it, I don't remember if I felt physical stuff with Aaralyn, with her it was just a gut feeling.

We'll probably do a home test Monday if it hasn't come by then... yikes, nervous and all kinds of emotions going on about this, but I would be excited too if I were... 🙂

😘 Im here for ya,and im sure no matter what Mike and the rest of the gang will be supportive what ever the out come is.I have to admit i am nervous for you but really excited. PMSL (sorry) but i cant help on thinking back to one of our pm's a few months ago and everything you wrote in it is all actually happening lol.( whooo scary 😲 )

im late too - but i think its down to xmas stress - we have been trying for about 6months now and iv been dissapointed too many times to get my hopes up again! but if i was preggers - baby would be due same time as ethan was! as i found out i was 6wks preggers on 27th december 2005!

Hey, hope you all had a great Christmas... We had a really nice one, my Sister got to spend her first Christmas ever with her niece Aaralyn and some other family members (sister's inlaws) got to meet Aaralyn for the first time 😀

On the other subject.... took a pregnancy test Sunday evening (couldn't wait 😉 ), got a negative result, and then got visit from AF on Christmas Eve day LOL... so was not meant for us to be having a little baba right now, and we're kinda stickin with if it happens it happens but we aren't trying for another at this point... so, that's that with that 🙂

Had to get up and be at work at 6am this morning to deal with the masses of people lined up at the door to get all their Christmas decorations for next year at half to 75 percent off... Crazy people man!! 😲

Aaralyn has gone with Mike and Amber to drop Ambi at her mom's for a few days so I'm going to clean up house a bit and take a nap!
