Hmmmmm..

I received a letter from work at the weekend tellng me i have been invited to a 'quarterly recognition moment' on thursday at 9am, to have breakfast in the restaurant.

Employee star of the quarter recieves £250 in vouchers of their choice! Attached was a slip to return your attendance.

I emailed HR to say i'd love to go but cannot get into work as dp is away and she replied saying 'please come you can bring georgie with you if you want to?????????????????????

I emailed back saying the clutch had gone on the car so would not be able to make it anyway...

Elaine then replied 'Beccy - i really want you there. Please try'

I saw her yesterday and said although it's my day off to please please attend.

Seems a tad strange.... 😕

I'd be too curious to NOT go! lol She might have something real nice in store for you!

Well yep i won the £250 but they have changed the proedure so i get that in my next payroll which is Jan - HOWEVER that means i get to do some fabby clothes shopping! I haven't had the money to do that for ages!!

Nice to know i'm appreciated too! My General Manager said i've always got a smile on my face - am extremely consistent and thinks i am excellent at my job. I got all the 'i don't know how you do it!' speel. That i've developed no-end - support everyone to the maximum and ALWAYS go above and beyond what is expected of me! 😀 😀 😀 😎 The fact i've got 100% on two mystery shoppers visits, gae them some fabby sales leads and covered 11 duty manager shifts when the DM didn't turn in and had no training to do it helped i think!

I was soooo embarrased 😊
