weddings at christmas time why????????

😛 Do my family always get married in december????????
For the last five years we have had one or another of my cousins get married either the week before or the week after christmas it drives me mad 😠
My cousin is getting married on the 29th of december then my other cousin is having her 21st on the 5th january 😲 Both having very formal parties. Coming from an ethnic background "cash"is the only present that is acceptable so once again the money i had saved is "gone".
I love my cousins alot so i guess i will get over it. lol. I just want one year that i dont have to be broke!!!
Lucky i purchased new clothes for my self and my family in october when we had x3 christenings on.

I know what you mean about being broke at Christmas time... I guess just do what ya can with what you have left over and make the best of it... maybe by next year everyone will be married and you can splurge on you guys 😀

I agree it is such an annoying time of year to have a wedding / large party as Christams is a strain enough for most people.

Would of been nice to have a tad more notice 😉

On the other note - we've had several 'christams' weddings at the hotel recently and i just feel sorry for the poor bridesmaids having to wait outside in their 'summery type' wear, freezing, waiting for the pictures to be taken - NUTS!!!

I must admit I wanted a Xmas wedding but, in the end it was a September one as I wouldn't have fit in a dress in my 'condition' lol.

i was meant to be getting married last xmas i really want to get married at xmas time but mine was going to be the 16th dec so it was before xmas obviously, i can see where you get why it can be annoying cos my grandparents wedding anniversary is boxing day grr so i gotta get 2 lots of presents and my dads birthday was yesterday exactly 2 weeks before xmas and it is annoying having to try and find 2 lots of xmas presents, but i love the idea of a white xmas wedding in a gorgeous long strapless dress and a fur wrap and my bridesmaids in red with fur wraps its so luxurious.. hehe

I can understand wanting a white wedding,it would look so beautifull,but in Australia it just plain "hot"lol
nothing worse than a sweaty bride lol 😲
