please help

im so confused as to wot to do i need some advise..
there is a lad who works with my hubby , hes both our friend but today he came into my work place, started bein really mouthy towards me and throwing tomatoe sauce sachets at me when i told him to stop n held my hand out to stop them from hittin me he bent 3 of my fingers right back.
it sounds really silly but because of my past experiance and being hit by my x it really scared me. i burst into tears and ran into the staff rom. i spoke to both my boss and allans boss and the lad who done it is in a lot of trouble. thing is allans boss has asked me not to mention nething to allan as hes gettin on really well at work and doesnt want him to have this put on to him and for huim to go mad at the lad who hurt me. but i feel he should know as uhe'll b so gutted if i didnt tell him.......
what would u all do...?

if it was me then id tell allen. i think he'd be more angry if he found out from someone else and not you.

Tell your other half and be hnest - tell him you've sorted it out- but wanted to let him know what has happened. I know he'll probably go mental like most men would! But after a while if he has been told it's being dealt with then he may just be thankful yuo were honest with him...

Tell him. That's totally outrageous. You were even well within your rights to call the police. I know I would have. Allan's your hubby and his boss approaching you with keeping it hush is totally out of order. You work to live, not live to work and at the end of the day you both have to go home to each other. Tell him what his boss said. That is totally unethical.

Ouchy. It doesn't matter why because he was out of order. Your implying that it could be her fault. No "trigger" in the world makes it ok for him to do what he did. It shouldn't matter to you why he did it or not. Fact is, he did it.

the git i would tell alan babe u no what men are like he will be so upset and angry if u dont and wonder y u hadnt and may think u dont trust him

thanks everyone. i spoke to allan about it last nite but told him to leave it as its been sorted now. nothin has to trigger this man hes just one of them men who think its fine to do things like that and actually all i said was to stop throwing tomate sauces at me. its just him.
allan was fuming about it but after talkin about it and makin him realise if he was to do nething it would make things a whole lot worse 4 me and fior him he has aggreed to leave it but will not speak to him anymore in or out of work. thanks again everyone x

sounds like this man has serious mental isues if he just randomly does these things! he needs help!

at least u told ur fella - worst thing would of been to keep it to yourself and things get out of control - just make sure you tell him of anything else that goes on. id also get the police involved as if he just snaps for no reason he may throw something much worse than a tomato sauce sachet if it happens again!
