Relationship crisis!!

Hey there! Just wanted to have a lil rant about men...! I have been with my boyf 4 just over 4 years now and we are expecting our 1st baby together in March. We have just moved into our first place together and things have gone down hill since. My boyf has two children from a previous relationship but does not see them. We have been arguing all the time, sometimes over really silly things but im beginning to have thoughts about leaving him. He constantly compares me to his Ex partner when she was pregnant, but says it in a really spitful way. For example last night he said 'My Ex was working until she was 8 and a half months pregnant so I dont see why you cant work etc....' The thing is I reciently qualified as a Nurse and there are very limited jobs in nursing in my area and I was unable to get a job, at the time (2 months ago) my other half said I didnt need to work and he could support us on his wage's so I havent been working, but we have been coping really well. I dont know what has happened to my partner, he really seems to have changed. I dont know what to do. I have spoke to him many times how I do not like being compared to his Ex but whenever we have an argument he brings her up again....HELP!

Hi, not seen you on this site before, so hello.

Seems like he is scared of commitment, not seeing his other children. I don't see why he is comparing you to her as he has nothing to do with his other children so I think that is very unfair especially if she is raising them herself.

No one would employ you being pregnant & nurses can work long hours I don't think you want do that being pregnant wouldn't be healthy for you.

Seems like he is not fully over his x, being her up at arguments & stuff, maybe that is why he doesn't see his kids.

Do what you think is best for you & your child, or you could see how he is when the child is born. Sorry to hear about this, Caits dad didn't help much & wasn't very supportive, we split up when she was 6 months.
