ive callencelled the christening

Ive called jessica's christening..my friend was gonna be godmother but her mam as just been told she has a week to live..she has cancer and i feel so bad for her..my friend is only 18 and its horrible thinking she is gonna lose her mum and such a young age..i dont want to celebrate knowing that she is down and upset and i would feel terrible if her mum passed away on the day of the christening.. ive told her where prepared to wait and have the christening next year...

I think that's a really admirable thing you've done and shows what great mates you must be, but sorry that Jessica's big day is on hold.
Hope your friend gets through ok, last August my friend lost her mum to cancer and it was so heart breaking to watch the family going through it. She'll need a good friend like you to be there when she wants to talk things through xx

we have had out ups and downs while we have be growing up but where always there for each other..ive told her to ring me day or night whenever she needs to talk..we are upset about cancelling the christening but that dont compare with her losing her mum...

Sorry to hear this, doctors aren't always right so she may have longer. Your a true mate and there isn't many of those around nowadays 😘
