In loving memory of Alex :o(
I just wanted to share with you my friends that we had to say goodbye to my 16 1/2 year old cat Alex today 🙁 .
She has been failing more lately and yesterday I made the decision to take her today. We had an appointment for 1:15 today to have her put to sleep, we went to the store and when we came home Alex had already gone 🙁 .
She was my first pet that I got when I went out of my parent's and on my own. She has been my baby girl since she was 5 weeks old and has been there with me through a lot! I will love her forever and I hope she's happy and comfortable now.
Aaralyn is ok, she understood that Alex would be going to a better place to be with our other amimals that have passed, Brody and Irie and "the fish". She was with me when our kitty Irie was put to sleep a couple years ago.
On a happier note, moving time (final time!!) is coming up in 2 weeks from today we'll be on our way to MD. Mike and Amber have already got Aaralyn's room all done. Aaralyn told Amber she wanted pink walls with green polka dots, so guess how Aaralyn's new room is painted, yep, pink with green polka dots LOL... done lovingly by Amber. I told Mike to take some before and after pics so hopefully will have some to post in a few weeks.
Can't wait to be back with you all old and new! Missing you lots!!
Please all wish my sweet Alex will rest in peace.. thank you in advance as I won't be on again for a few days probably.

omg im so sorry but i bet u have taken good care of her for the last 16 years,how do u feel cus im sooo scared too ive got my cat since i was 12 so shes 8 now comin up to nine we have been through everythin together, shes the first and only cat i will have, well dunno about only but im in no rush in gettin another when shes gone but im gonna miss her so much. i cant believe ur cat was 16 tho i thought they only go up to 13 so ive heard anyways hope ur ok xxx

my mum has had cats that were 18 and 21yrs when they passed away, so happier animals live longer. thats what i say

wow yea i think thats true happier cats do live longer, my saskia is very happy but she wouldnt of lasted if she stayed with my mum god she hated it there cus my mum had 3 other cats xxx

😘 😘 RIP Alex, hope you and Aaralyn are feeling a little better now. She had a lovely long life and I'm sure she was well looked after.

Awww, thank you girls 🙂 Alex is definately in a better place now and she did have a very happy life right up to the end I think.
Cassie, it's going to be very hard for you, I'm not gonna lie... but when you have to make that decision you know it will be the right one... it doesn't make it hurt any less though. This was my 3rd "furbaby" to go in about 4 years, the first time was the hardest with my basset hound but then it was easier to say goodbye to my kitty Irie because I had been through it with Brody... it's a nice thought to know that they won't suffer any more but it is one of the saddest things you'll go through, I'm so sorry to say. I hope you still have many more happy years with your kitty hun! 🙂
