help... missing lil' bear!!! (UPDATED)

well for those whove read my scotland post - we lost Ethans lil' bear in Edinburgh train station! and i could not find a replacement anywhere!!
since coming home iv done nothing but search the net for one, with no such luck (hes special you see - was brort by my best friend when we furst found out i was expecting and i said it was to be one of them teddies he would grow up with and id be sewing its legs back on and things - you know the sort) anyways... she got it from holiday - cant remember where now! but i need it replaceing! we got ethan a new bear from the bear factory but he doesnt like it!! we think he needs his lil bear back!!

tonight iv found a website in australia that does him!! its just that i dont understand the cost and then shipping is gonna be pricey!! so if anyone has seen a bear exactly like this please let me know... hes a blue patch tatty 'mr bean' type bear,made by 'russ'...

Hi ya hun,i have just read your post and i thought i would let you know i have seen these bears around (im in Australia)i have just spoken to a friend of mine that works close to a teddy bear shop and she will go in this week and see how much she can pick one up for if they have them in stock.I will pm you when i find out if they have them.xx

thanks jo your an absolute star!! i contacted 'russ' and hes a discontinued line and once theyve all gone from what stores have them left,theyre not doing him again!! nooooo!!! id love it if you could get hold of one for me!!

yeh glenny - thats the only one i could find in the UK on that website - i dont seem to be having much luck 🙁 but hopefully jo-jo can come up with something for us!! 🙂

Hi ya hun i have contacted two stores that had stocked them one said they cant get that bear anymore but....the other store said they will check all interstate stock for me, so they will get back to me in a few days.I told them it was quite urgent and that i had to get it to Ethan in the UK ASAP as he was quite upset/lost without it 😢 so they said they will do there best to find one and make it a speedy delivery.Fingers crossed.xxxxx

iv decided to take Ethans dummy off him yesterday - hes doing well although was a monkey during the night - but i think if lil' bear was here he wouldnt miss the dummy so much!! 🙁

just a word of warning.....my little sofi has a security blanket of winnie the poo that shes had since she was 4 months old this thing gets washed twice a week and she jus cant be without it (shes a thumb sucker) i found another winnie the poo blanket EXACTLY the same but she will not use it she knows the difference between the two blankets and just throws the "new one" to one side so although you may find an exact match to lil bear ethan may not take to it because its not "his bear" (unless ive just got a very fussy girl lol) good luck in your search though

yeh i phoned and we retraced out steps too - no such luck - hopefully he will take to the new one - even if it means me sleeping with it for a few nights to get our 'smell' on it!!

Glad you got a new one like Glenny said Cara lost her fav ....but her face when she saw the new one was a picture .....i,m Sure Ethan will love him just as much as he did his last 🙂

thats great that you have a replacement - i was worried about giving cara a brand new one as i thought she would no the difference, but thankfully she just thought he'd been washed i think lol - im sure he'l love his new bear 😀

Glad you got another bear! My sister lost hers and we had to get a replacement my sister was only 1 and when my dad opened the box to see what it was he only pulled out the arm and she yelled "BEAR!" ran across the room and didn't let it out her sight again!

So sweet, I'm sure he'll love it!
