Our car has just cost us
£225! 😢
We just had to have a new caliper fit and two new tyres so we can get it through the MOT and the road tax is due at the end of the month. We have decided to only get 6 months so we don't have to fork out for everything at once again...and mainly because we can't afford 12. Our car somehow is a high tax band so it's 205 for 12 months and unfortunately I can't conjure money out of thin air.
We didn't even have to pay labour because martin's best mate is a mechanic and did a guvvy for us bless him (he gave it a free service too :D)! God knows how much it would have been otherwise!
I'm soo peed off I really could have used that money to buy Christmas presents and go towards our holiday next year.
Sorry for ranting, it just seems to be one thing after another at the moment 🙁
i cant drive (failed twice)....but all my mates and other family are always moaning about how much there cars cost ....kinda makes me pleased i get the bus ...... it hurts when you get hit with bills so close to Christmas though 🙁
Kind of makes me wish we didn't bother learning to drive either lol! I'm sure it would be cheaper to take buses everywhere!
