arent kids funny!
a few days ago my sister was in the car with her fiance and my niece, they were just chatting about when the new baby comes and getting married after the baby is born. my niece pipped up and said to mike(sisters fiance) when u marry my mum can i call u dad? i thought it was a sweet thing to ask and the fact she wants to wait till they are married is very grown up i thought 😀 . she has never seen her dad and has never really questioned it 🙁 . she has never wanted to call mike dad but understands that when he marries her mum he will be her step dad, so thinks it will be easier to call him dad rather then step dad. just thought it was relly sweet 😀 😀
aww thats sweet! my neice has never had nothing to do with her dad and my sisters boyfriend (theyve been together 7yrs now) but it was only about 2yrs into ther relationship when my neice ran downstairs shouting 'DAD,DAD...' as she ran into the front room to see us lot sitting there speachless, she paused a little then said 'it is ok if i want you as my dad isnt it!?' he gave her a big hug and said hes glad thats the person she sees him as,and hes been known as dad ever since! after all, he is the only decent guys whos actually been there for my sis and neice, and not ran a mile when he found there was a kid too!!
how cute 😘
awwwwwwww thats sweet.
james is jami's stepdad. jami was 5 when i got together with james and she started calling him daddy james hehehe hes now dad lol.
Awww that's sweet... my parents were divorced when I was 2 1/2 and my mom was remarried by the time I was 3... at first it was Daddy Kenny (my biological Dad) and Daddy Paul (my step Dad) as I got out of touch with my biological Dad, Daddy Paul became Daddy... when I did meet my bio Dad for the first time when I was 15, I called him Kenny (it felt weird to say Dad then)
