Childless women hating working mothers
Hi,
Did anyone watch GMTV on Monday? They were talking about an article in the Telegraph, about childless women envying working mothers.
Finally, something that addresses the issue that working mums have to face every day! I have been there - although those women in question have always done it 'tactfully' enough that I would get the message, but without moaning about me having to leave work on time, or being able to work from home etc.
Has anyone else experienced this?
i have never experienced this but i think envying working mums is crazy 🙃 , its flippin hard work, but i do think they should be repected for bringing up kids and trying to hold down a job 😀 😀 😀
when i was pregnant i took discrimination act out against my boss, and she was suspended until i went onto maternity leave!! im one to not take s:angry:t so id never let anyone get away with something if i thort it was wrong.
Isn't it just crazy?? I don't understand how they can't see the other side of it - like the fact that we often can't go out for drinks after work with short notice because we have to collect our children, or the bags under our eyes from staying up with a sick/teething child, or how we often an't splurge out on holidays left right and centre becasue we are paying huge amounts out on childcare!
I am proud to be a working mom, would love to be a stay at home mom too, but as single mother I can't afford it. It is a struggle, especially when, at the moment, I am paying out so much for day care/pre school, but I'm hoping for assistance with that again. I have to work but I try to spend every minute that I can with my daughter when I'm not working.
