Am i over reacting?

I have just got sent a PM on my bebo

this is what the pm said has follows

hey im really sorry if i freak you out with this but i was looking at your group babies with wings, and i looked at your pics and my son looks almost identical to your son lewis, i sent a pic of him to my mum and asked if it looked like anyone she knew and she thought i sent a pic of my son to her!

my thoughts are with you and i hope this doesnt upset you!

I don't mind the message but what i do mind is that she copyed my angels pic to send to her mum with out even asking me or my partner
some people just do not think and have no respect also if she did not want to freack me out why send the message why not keep her thoughts to herself am i been over the top or would you feel the same ??

I agree, even if she meant no harm (which she probably did mean no harm) but it would still freak me out and bother me about the picture thing. Did you respond back to her?

I just kept cool and said TBH i don't think my angel has a look of your little one and kept it to that did not want to upset myself even more or upset her she might not of ment know harm but it still upset me 🙁

Donna has looked at the pic you sent her and disagrees that there is any resemblance between the 2 boys so could you please just leave it at that.
Donna has no wish to look through your albums trying to see her angels face as it is hard enough for as it is missing her angels.
I hope you can be sympathetic to Donna and leave her be,

Yea, she really is pushing it hun... I would just be honest and let her know that she is upsetting you with her messages and that you would like to keep your Angel's memory as it is, so could she please refrain from talking about it or sending you messages about it any more... 😘 's babe!!

I think Sara put that very nicely, if she doesn't get it after that then I would make a complaint about it, unfortunately hun, some people are just very thick and rude even with out meaning to be. 😘

Whilst I agree this woman seems a bit strange, and that asking you to look at her photos is quite distasteful, you do need to remember that when you put photos onto the internet you are putting them in front of the public eye, and in certain cases yes they can be saved and shared.

When people view an image on the internet it is usually copied to their computer as part of their internet cache anyway.

Not excusing people who repost images on sites like Bebo etc, that is creepy, but unfortunately nobody can stop people sharing photos they see with friends/family, and this is seen as an acceptable part of internet life.

Hope you're feeling better now - I'd just messages in future if you think they might upset you 🙂

I agree, my mate copied some of me and Cait, didn't ask and thats a mate, annoyed me!Her aunt also did that.

I've got my pictures on myspace as friends can only view, can you do that on bebo? After reading and hearing things on the tv about id fraud I got abit paranoid lol. So I think its best if your profile is set to friends view only.

i think, although probably meaning no harm, she was being a little insensitive. i would have been freaked too hun. i dont think you over-reacted and i think yr friends message to her was spot on.

aawww, that was nice, she really probably meant no harm but just wasn't thinking how much it would bother you.... even though I would think it wouldn't take alot of common sense for her to realize to let it go after your first response to her.... glad ya got some closure on that situation atleast.
