mp3 repair

my beloved mp3 player has developed a fault - sound only comes out of one ear phone - thinks its something to do with the socket as if you put the jack in just a little it plays through both.

i have scoured google for soemwhere/someone to repair it but it seems these things are just disposable and once they have faults they get chucked!!

rich bought it me for my birthday 2 years ago - a pink sony 20gb nw-hd3 and i really cant afford to replace it!!

anyone have any bright ideas??

have you tried a differents set of earphones???

yeah i bought a new pair and then tried isaac's and just tried rich's poncy expensive ones!!!

i miss my music when im walking to school and laughing at the chris moyles' podcasts so people think im mental!!!

Contact Sony and see what they say, they are normally pretty good with repairs and replacments.

My bfs sony mp3 was like this, he sent it off and finally got it fixed. The headphones can be like that. I'd do what Rich said.

i have googled sony mp3 player repairs and i can never get a straight number/address etc....

will see if i can get an email address and see if someone can point me in the right direction!!!

I'll ask my bf when he gets back how he contacted them if you like?

My bf said he went to the place he bought it, so it might be an idea to do that

hubbie got it off ebay 2 years back and cant find the details. will try and see if their is a sony repair centre nearby!!
