I think it is unusual for someone so young to have them but they can still get them at that age. and as she has the spots that means the virus has gone and she is on the road to recovery
from NHS 24
Measles is a highly infectious viral disease that causes a range of symptoms including fever and distinctive red-brown spots. Most people recover within 7-10 days, but there can be serious complications, some of which can be fatal, so you should get your children immunised against measles.
Although the rash is the most well-known and obvious sign of measles, it is just an outward symptom of what is mainly a respiratory infection.
Measles mainly affects young children, but can be caught at any age. The virus is spread by droplets from coughs and sneezes in the air, contact with the skin, or via objects with the live virus on them.
The mumps, measles and rubella vaccination (MMR) has made measles quite rare in the UK, but there have been recent outbreaks in children who have not been immunised.
I don't think it matters hun, how old is she?
Poor little mite....
Measles is getting more and mroe common isnt it
