Child tax?!

Just tried to call them to say that both mine and DFs wages have gone down and my childcare will be stopping etc etc and apparently they have a high call rate atm and my call cannot be answered - so whos calls are they answering for it to be a high call rate?!?
They said to call bk later between the hours of 8am-8pm GRR! They've also been so helpful whenever ive called! it then goes on to say if ur call is not urgent to call on a thur or fri! how od i know if my call is urgent or not lol! 🤔

ive recently started work and thought our child tax would go down,, how wrong was i , it went up by £27.. its great,, but hubbys wages have recently gone up so im guessing it will go down now...

Poor you, I get so annoyed with those phone lines! I hope you weren't having to pay a premium rate for ringing it. I wouldn't mind so much if they didn't make you listen to such god-awful music while you're on hold - and it's always so loud! Surely they want to keep you on the line, so why not have something interesting to listen to when you're on hold?

Try emailing them through their website, they are hard to get through to, I generally found 10am is the to be the best time to get them to answer! Good luck! 🙂
