check out our pumpkins

these things are growing like crazy, we only have 3 pumpkins, but one of them is getting really big!!... look at how much it's grown in just a short time... should be great for Halloween!

and look at it today!!

and this is the beautiful sunny blue sky day we had... the leaves are starting to change color slightly now too, Fall'll be here before we know it

Hi hun your pumpkins look great i cant believe that it has grown so much in 1 week will it be orange before halloween?We are now 2 days into spring and the weather has been great still abit cool at night though. 😀

thanks, it's been fun for Aaralyn watching them grow too, every morning now she wants to go out first thing and see how much the pumpkin has grown... should be big and orange by Halloween!! 😀

Yeah it would, we sowed some pumpkin seeds in March but they never grew 😢 We are quite disappointed we love carving pumpkins at Halloween, we will have to buy some now.

How did ya do it Tammy? We got given some seeds but we weren't really sure what to do with them, probably why we have no pumpkins lol!

LOL... we kinda cheated as our friend gave us 2 plants that were tiny and had about 2 small leaves on each (he started them from seeds, inside), we planted them in July I think and they just took off like weeds!! We just made sure they got watered every day that it didn't rain and that was about it. I think pumpkins and cantelope, watermelon, things like that like to grow on a down cline (opposite of incline??lol). The plants are like more than 10 feet long now but we are only gonna end up with 2 pumpkins, thought maybe 3, but the smallest isn't looking too well this morning 🙁 . We're gonna have a big fat round one and a long skinny one hehe, cute pair! 🙂

Bet you could find something online about how to start them by seeds for next year 🙂 I could ask my friend when he started them too and let ya know.

i always thort pumpkins grew underground-lol!! iv never actually seen one other than in the shops n wen weve made em look scarey for halloween!
