Bl**dy Next door really p*ssed off

Next door we have a family of trevellers/Gypsies they have there own paving and roofing business and they travel all over we Lizzie the owner of the house has been away for months but she has differant family staying and there drive is full of caravan's well she has some family staying there at mo all in caravans in her drive has they don't have the key to Lizzie's home well tonight one of the girls from next door knocked at the door i was in bed reading and John was downstairs playing online games she knocked so loud on the door i herd it from upstairs and i thought it was the police or someone the way she knocked it was also 12:30am 😲 😠
and do you know what she wanterd she asked John if she could borrow a DVD has there was nothing on telly 😛 😠 John was furious with her said we have kids in bl**dy bed and sent her on her way

Is it just me but do you think most trevellers/gypsies have no manners and no respect for others?

Im really p*ssed off i was trying to settle down for the night and had to get out of bed has i was thinking who the hell is that at this time of the night 😀

wow, that is just plain rude in my opinion... would be one thing if you knew them (still would be rude at that time of the night) but yea, I'd be pretty annoyed too.

We don't have alot of travellers/gypsies over here, there are some communities of travelers in the states but none in this area to my knowledge. I have heard not so nice things said about them though, big scammers over hear, the roofing and fixing up of things, then they take your money and never finish the work... stuff like that.

Anyway, good luck with all that hun, sounds like it's not so peaceful around there at the moment 😲

i agree with tammy as in it was just plain rudeness.

i also think it depends on the individuals. there are some gypsies who park their caravans round the york area and theyre khnown for stealing and fly tipping and having no respect whatsoever. yet my sisters partner is a traveller and him and his family are among the nicest ppl ive ever met. they dont 'travel' anymore and have settled. i just think its the individual and yr hubby was right sending her away. cheeky mare

Travelers get this stink attatched to them that automatically says they are bad people who disrepsect the places they stay, I think you can attatch that stink to alot of people that don't travel, if you don't get taught manners, then you don't use them right? I used to go to school with some traveler children and they were pretty cool, had to put up with alot of name calling as you can imagine, but nice family. Alot of people on the estate I live on display the lack of manners you have described, and they are all settled into flats and houses ( mores the pity ), but it's the same disregard for folk who want a quiet life, shouting, swearing, slamming around, dumping rubbish. So I think it's fair to say, it's not just Travelers that deserve a slating. I do however think that the incident was uncalled for, and your huby was right to give her a ticking off, but at the end of the day, its the lack of manners and respect in that particular family I would think. The defense for the Travelers rests lol, just read this post back, I sound like a defense council. I hope the problem you have moves on soon hunny. Keep us posted.

They're rude because they have no bloody respect for society, conventionality or conforming. They get to run riot because other people are afraid if they upset them they'll damage their property or steal their stuff then up and leave. There are travellers near us and the council have put a port-a-loo there for them otherwise they s**t on the ground-how nice is that!!!

Dont get me wrong some travellers are lovely but alot of them are very rude and no manners

they steal caravan's and trucks e.c.t there workers who are not irish travellers and we get along with a few there nice lad's well they tell me just what there like there beat there workers and pay them next to nothing dont let them use there toilet or shower in there home or static caravan make them live in a small caravan with no heating e.c.t a few times i have made sarnies up for the workers the one's we have become good friends with because i feel so sorry for them they take there passport's off them and one lad who works for them has been working with them since he was 16 he is from scotland and he is now 22 nver see's his family and he is to scared to get away from them he knows what there capable off 🙁 and not to metion there drinking all hours and come back figting and putting tv's threw there windows and stuff 😲
