Need to vent about Aaralyn's dad again...

GGGRRRRRRRRRRR I'm so mad at him right now, I'm ready to not let him see her any more.

He's supposed to take her tonight and keep her over night, just got off the phone with him to confirm, I told him he would have to pick her up here today (since i moved, I've been meeting him to drop her off to him) I told him I had no gas in my car and no money right now to put any in, so he's gonna have to come here. His reply "well, I'm not coming then"... WTF!!!!???? because he has to drive literally an extra 3 miles to pick her up here (not anything to do with Marc being here, because he won't be here).. I don't even think my car will go a quarter mile with the lack of gas in it right now or I would have gladly met him. He said why don't you ask Marc for a few bucks? First of all he's not here, secondly if he was here he would give it to me, but if I told him it was to put gas in my car to take Aaralyn to meet Scott he would be pissed and say no way, he can come here, it's his responsibility!!

So, I say ok, now Aaralyn's been so excited to come see you, I guess I'll just tell her that you're not gonna because you won't drive a little further (mind you, he didn't see her at all this week yet)... he says oh, go ahead, 10 years from now she'll see what it was really like... WHAT??? is he saying that 10 years from now she'll see he was the good parent and I was the bad parent?.... hearing those words just hurt me so bad and I cannot stop crying... I have been there for her for everything... spent a week laying next to here in a hospital bed while she had pnemonia, called out of work (and didn't get paid) every time she was sick and couldn't go to school. My boyfriend in a year has spent more time with her and done more for her than her dad has, but in 10
F-ing years he thinks she's gonna look badly at me??

Every time she says why don't I see daddy more, or why did daddy bring me back so soon, or why couldn't I stay with daddy tonight.... I want to say because you're not his priority sweety, but I don't want to hurt her... Now I have to figure out how to tell her that she's not seeing her daddy this weekend or spending the night with him... she's been talking about it all morning 🙁

I don't use this word very often but right now I HATE HIM!!!!

what a PIG!!! what is 3 miles for his daughter?!? Men like that make me blood boil. I can understand why you are upset (you are the one who has to tell Aaralyn- maybe you should make HIM tell her!!!!)

I dont know what to say to you hun ( I WOULD PROBABLY SLAP HIM NEXT TIME YOU SEE HIM 😉 ) 🤔 who said that!!! 🤔 Makes me glad I have NO contact with my sperm donor!!!

😘 for you 😘 for Aaralyn

What a ass 😀

how can he not travel that bit further to see his own child 🙁 😠

how would he feel if he never got to see his child at least you try and let him in your dughter's life i never knew my blood farther so he should thank his lucky stars he can see his child 😀

thanks Alex, you just made a giggle come out through the crying.. (I agree with that thought that slipped out)... My friend wants his phone number so bad so she can give him a little reality slap over the phone, but he's so closedminded that it would only fuel things.

At this moment, I really think that I am just not going to go out of my way any more so that he can see her. If he doesn't want to come here to get her then he just won't see her. Then he can take me to court and pay all the expenses for it. technically because we were never married, he has no custodial rights at all, so legally I can do this. Just didn't want to have Aaralyn go through this so I have to figure out a way to explainn to her why she won't be seeing him probably for a while. It also means that he won't be paying me his piddly (compared to what she costs) child support.. I'll do with out it thanks!

The thing that just bothers me the most was his "in 10 years" comment, I just don't understand why he would say such a thing. I know I'm a great parent, everyone who's in mine and Aaralyn's lives see that I'm a great parent, but I guess he thinks I'm so horrible that she's gonna hate me in 10 years... at this point, he'll be lucky if she remembers him in 10 years 😠 .... He better change his ways or he is missing out on raising a very special, sweet, and loving little person... oh well, his loss, maybe her loss too though, which saddens me 🙁

What a total and utter f-ing 😠 ! god how selfish is that! Hun I can see why you are upset and it isnt fair that you have to break it to Aaralyn that she wont be seeing her father today! And am almost certain that she will not think that he is the good parent in 10 years time hun! you will always be the best parent to her xxx

O hunny what a git! She'll never turn against you, your being a brilliant parent, she'll see him for what he is doing and thats nothing for her!! I hope she doesn't get too upset 😘

omg what a 😠

why are men like that, well obv not all men,, but grrrrrrrrr it makes my blood boil too! 😠

awwwwww hun firstly ((((((((((huge hugs)))))))))) and i know easier said than done but dont listen to what he said. hes obviously just trying to hurt you and upset you. yr not the bad guy in this. he is. hes the bad parent. and a total arsehole

im really sorry youve got to go through this and poor aaralyn too. id tell him to f*** off

thanks to the new posts... He never called back, I left a calm message just asking him if he really wasn't coming, thinking he'd see how ridiculous he was being... never called back. Marc is so mad at him too... he thinks I should just tell Aaralyn the truth about her dad, I think she's too young and won't comprehend it properly and end up feeling hurt. She ended up having a blast today anyway 😀

I went to the store for a bit (Marc did give me money for gas 😜 when he got home) and while I was gone, Marc fixed Aaralyn pasta and sauce and cheese bread for lunch... took a bunch of pics of her while she was eating and set her and her stuffed doggie Gussie up for a "candle lit" lunch LOL... Of course there will be pics on my blog of it all LOL... When I came back Aaralyn said Mommy there's a surprise for you on the computer... Marc had put a really cute pic of her on for the screen background 😍

Later, my friend Karyn and her boys came over and we all had BBQ spare ribs and carrots and slaw for dinner outside... the kids played and had so much fun.. yes, pics of that too 😉 .

She is now watching Scooby, just outta the bath and as happy and content as she can be... so to you Scott!!! Glad I was the one that got to have all the fun with her today 😜 😀

If ya want, check out my latest pics on my blog...

😘 thank you guys so much for letting me vent here, it really does help 😍

In 10 years time she'll see that YOU were there and he was a lame excuse of a dad; and he'll be lucky if she can even be bothered to see him then.

Aw hun, he's a total plonker! Glad you had a good time anyway, it is sad he hasn't a clue what a father is meant to be and he was obviously trying to get a rise out of you with the 10 year comment 😠

I think you have to do what you feel is best, maybe he thinks you are a pushover but stick with your guns hun and show him it's your way or the highway!

You have Aaralyn's interest in heart and mind while he obviously only has his own!

Marc sounds like a lovely guy, and she will have a lot of respect for you and him. Glad to hear you had a fun day!!I hope her dad sorts himself out soon

thanks for the added posts! 🙂 I've decided I am not gonna let his comment bother me, I know what kind of parent I am and so do the people that matter in my life and that's all that matters. He is probably knowing he's lacking in his parenting "skills" so just wanted to take a jab at me to let off some of the guilt he feels... oh well, he's still gonna be missing out and he will regret it in 10 years!
