Have to take Roxie to the vets tomorrow :(
She managed to ripped her claw out of her paw on one her back legs and now she has a big purple bandage on it...or as Charlotte calls it, her sock LOL!
I'm a bit worried about what they are going to do next as she is still walking 3 legged so she is obviously still in pain when she puts her paw down 🙁 I just hope it hasn't got infected. Poor thing 🙁
ah! poor thing. 😘
Aww!!Hope everything goes alright
aww poor Roxy, hope everything goes ok 🙂
Owch Owch poor think hope its not infected 🙁
awwww... all mine have paws crossed for her 😍 let us know how it goes... poor thing. That happened to Cory's dew claw and they just removed it and she was fine after, she was on antibiotics for a bit. Hope she's better soon 😘
Well she has been but she was not impressed about it LOL! She now has a lampshade thingy on her head and we have all had our legs taken out by her charging past already hehe!
She has had her bandage taken off and she's been given some antibiotics for a week and then she should be fine. She has the lampshade on her head to stop her chewing her paw. We have to bathe her paw in salt water a couple time a day but she has stopped limping now so hopefully she is well on the mend 😍
Glad she is insured though otherwise it would have cost £116! We still had to pay the excess but that was cheaper than the final bill!
Glad to hear everything will be okay. That would of cost alot!
aaawww... the lampshade!! 🙁 get some pictures! Poor thing, I hope she's feeling much much better soon.
Glad she is on the mend
😲 @ the bill think id better get mine insured how much do you pay insurance ??
aww poor thing..the cones look so uncomfortable on them poor animals, i know i would hate it! 🙁
mumof2_jo said:I think its about £17 a month and the excess is £80, I think it would be possible to get it cheaper but we can't change our insurance as she gets a re-occurring ear problem so some insurers wont insure her and others wont keep paying out all the time. We are with pet plan, they will insure for repeat problems and skin conditions.
Glad she is on the mend

im going to ring on Monday and get some prices 🙂
It was Marts grandad that told us to get her insured, he lost his dog as he was run over and it cost thousands to just have operations and be seen etc. Eventually he had to be put to sleep as he was so badly injured and they just couldn't afford to keep paying for all the procedures he'd need and the physio. He said he was silly thinking it would never happen 🙁
