ideas please..
HELP! its my daughters 1st birthday in just under 4 weeks and i have no idea what to do. I dont know whether to have a garden party at my mums or have a party on the beach? i have no idea whether izzy is having 2 birthday partys one down here and one at her dads or anything... i have no ideas any ideas please.. its such horrible weather aswell at the moment
Id stick to doing it at home,easier to alter if it buckets down with rain. Have aplan in mind for if you do have to have it inside. I think for a first birthday all you need is some party food and some people, after all to them its just another day - so no point making too much of a job for yourself, it gets more of a traum a every year so make the most of it!
don't do it on the beach - can you really keep an eye on that many kids? What if they wander off?

yeah im probably making a deal out of it its just i got her bday in under 4 weeks and then shes getting christened like 2 weeks after her birthday so im trying to plan 2 events which are happening in a short period of time and ive virtually planned her christening just gotta book the church and the hall afterwards but her birthday i have no idea on..
what about just a small party in the house?. I know it`s a big deal to you so dont be offended when i say she is only 1 and wont even understand what all the fuss is about anyway 😊

also think u should get ur bum in gear and book that chirstening hun as we had trouble booking for the summer month and ended up all the way in november coz church we fully booked unless u wanted to share with another christening!
well i already spoke to the vicar and told me to name the date n i could probably have it i only live in a village so its ok
i'd still book it asap hun! ours was in a village as well 🙂
yeah im just waiting for her nannie on her dads side to text me to confirm that date ok for them before i ask the vicar

i would say definalty at home my best friend always does her little girls partys at home and there lovley and always a lot of fun 😀
the only reason we are having play gym next yr is coz its my ds' 1st b-day on the 23rd April then its my DD's 5th birthday on the 24th April! so a play gym will cover both ages and i wated to do it for dd anyway! 🙂 otherwise ive always had dd's parties at home 🙂

I say at home too, at her age she will have just as much fun as anywhere else! Good luck with the planning sweety! For the Christening as well.
thanks as soon as the vicar has got back to me to confirm the date i can finally send out invites wooop the fun bit and the just hire the hall and my mums friend does catering so thatd be sorted quicker
home party does deffo sound the best the beach was something that popped into my mind cos i always wanted to have my birthday on the beach but unfortunately having a birthday in nov doesnt allow you that pleasure
I would also have the party at home.As Buttercup said, she is only going to be 1 and although a big deal for the parents, she really isnt going to know anything about it.

umm noone at the moment lol as im not allowed partys at my house so i gotta see if my mum will let me have it at hers and then i got fo find out what going off with her dads side and what they want to do whether she having a seperate party up there etc
