Help me Facebookers???

I tried to start a facebook account a few days ago and everytime I go to enter my email addie and password it says this

The email address you have entered has already been registered, but your account has not yet been confirmed. You will get an email shortly telling you how to confirm your account.

but I haven't gotten an email from them yet?? does it usually take this long??

You should have had the confirmation e-mail but some internet providers block them as spam. Do you have a spam folder on your e-mail account? It might be in there.
