Mother to MIL - how???

What is it that turns us mummies into evil selfish moos who don't care a hoot about our D/S IL??

(And don't say a wedding LOL)

Is it that 'we'(as to-be MILs) know better about raising children? Is it being possessive over the daughter/son?

Is it that we're so far from the experience, that e just can't remember how irritating these little comments can be??

Or is it just that we like the way we did things in our day... and the new way of doing things is typically 'modern' and over-fussy??

I'm at a loss. I don't want to turn 😀

Help me pre-empt this bizarre twist of character! Is it HRT?? Who knows....

i always think MILs are worse with their sons than daughters. DILs have stolen their little boys away and must pay for it 😲

Don't even get me starterd on my MIL 😠

well lets just say that when i divorced my 2nd husband ( meg's dad ) after 6 yrs of marriage, i sent him an email picture of a pair of scissors and said that maybe he should think about cutting the umbilical cord, as someone obviously forgot to do it! He's 38 now and still hasnt taken my advice.... 😏 😉 🙃 😠

After having a deranged mil(thats being nice)for 5 years and putting up with all sorts of nasty catty comments and umbilical cord issues!when my ex-husband and i divorced she really let me see her true feelings (2 faced moo moo) 😠 .When i met my 2nd husband his mum was the best mil i could have ever wished for she really made me appreciate all the mil out there that do care sadly she passed away the day i found out i was pregnant. 😢
