Natures Devastation

Here are some pictures, 2 of which are from the Town that I live, thankfully we live on a high area and the water does'nt gather where we are, but the town is only 5 mins away, scary stuff...I have included some other places that are in close proximity to our location...it's devastating, absolutley devastating.

Very sad that people have lost their stock, their livelyhoods, and their homes...

its awful. just been watching it on the news. we had it here few weeks ago and were like you up on high ground so were very lucky but a town just 7 miles away was like that in those pics youve posted.and one poor couple were flooded twice in 4 days 🙁

It really is awful isn't it! Some of them picturea are really scary! Its amazing how fast and how high the water can rise 😲

The town where i live (todmorden) has been flooded in the past but thankfully not his time. It was this time last year. We live up a hill so are safe but friends/family and local business' and school's were badly effected. It takes months and months to repair the damage. In our town they had alraedy spent a lot of moeny on flood prevention but it still didn't seem to do the trick, it simply came up all drains 😬

I find it really strange and unnerving how bad things are this year...and its all over the uk too. Filey (where we go caravaning this weekend) has been flooderd too along with south wales and lots of other areas 🤔

OMG that is awful!Its been raining here but not that bad!It does flood here a lil bit but not too bad, thank god. I feel sorry for the people that have lost their homes and stuff. Hasn't Gordan Brown got a budget for the floods?

It's so sad, where would you even start in putting your home back together?

Scary and sad, I can't even begin to imagine. Things like this and Katrina (the hurricane that devasted the US's south) are gonna keep getting worse I'm afraid.

where do you begin to rebuild your life/house/work after devastation like that?

It is so sad and so scary.

Its on the news all the time I can't believe how widespread it is.

I just feel so sad that people have lost so much, I can't imagine how hard it must be for them watching helplessly. 🙁
