food shopping online?
does anyone do there food shopping on line? ive often thought about this but ive heared a few stories about mixed up orders and replacment items for things that are out of stock being completely different to original item that have made me a bit wary
I have done my shopping online for about 2 years 😀 its GREAT!
Yes there have been a couple of things which have been packed wrong or missing but i've also had some freebies! When i've phoned up i've never had any problems and always got a full refund, even for stuff like grapes and bread which is just a bit squashed.
You can chose to not have any subsitutes but i find there usually ok, you can just get them to take them away if your not happy.
I don't think i could be without my online shopping it saves me soooo much time. I use both tesco and asda. I do prefer the tesco website but i perfer the asda stuff so i alternate, lol.
It takes quite a while first time and you'll probably forget some stuff but after a few weeks it will only take you around 10 minutes as it store all your stuff 😀
If you do decide to give it a go don't forget to search for voucher codes on the net i always get free delivery and sometimes £5/£10 off!
HTH and if you do try it you'll ahve to let us know how you get on, Gemma
yes i use asda online and its great!!! 😀
i wud never go in a supermarket again! 😝
thanks think il give it ago tonight as its anightmare getting around the supermarket with 2 little ones going to try asda first as thats where i mostly shop anyway il let you know how i get on a.s.a.p
shopping online is fantastic
i use it all the time as its so much easier than dragging the kids round the supermarket
and i find i save a fortune as im not putting stuff in the trolley i dont need
I've never tried it before, but because I worried that the fruit and veg they pick out might not be the nicest ones! Has anyone found this to be the case or are they usually really good for this?
I shop with Tesco online quite often more so for my big shop at the end of the month (pay day 😉 ). It's great ~ saves a lot of time and hassle 😉 .
Anything that they substitute is usually given to you in an outside in carrier and you can just hand it back to the driver if you're not happy with it 🙂 . The majority of the times it's just a variation of what ever it is you've asked for ~ I've never sent anything back yet.
I've registered for Asda ~ think I'll give them a go this month 😉 .
Good luck mumof2!!
😊 I still haven't done this, I enjoy going food shopping though lol

Oh btw I ment to say, anything you order you can add a note to but they do assure you that whoever picks you're shopping will always give you the freshest in store. I've never had any problems with the fruit and veg ...........so far anyway 😉
We've shopped with tesco online a few times, but i find the delivery prices a pain in the butt
You shouldn't ever need to pay for postage.
have a quick look through this thread next time you come to place an order.
