to give your child an name after a celeb or someone you like???

All I will raise on this is, to name a child will affect how he/she is treated for the rest of his/her life...names like Apple Blossom etc are bound to cause bullying at school, I think it boils down to common sense at the end of the day...I would'nt name any child something that would quite possibly cause misery for him/her in later life...remember alot of show people don't use their Birth names. Hope this makes sense.

That is also true i went to school with a boy called "knot" and the poor lad went through hell.I also went to school with a girl named "name-sky"she left school after 2 weeks i still feel bad for her till this very day.

No not Ewan Mcgregor, just Ewan lol. But I do actually really like the name, not just because of the actor.

My son Denis is named after the character that used to be in EastEnders played by Nigel Harman

I think celebrity names are ok if you are planning on sending your child to a private school but if its the local school for them you are setting them up for a lifetime of bullying and misery IMO.

Its bad enough that they get bullied for wearing glasses,being podgy,having ginger hair etc but to lumber them with an awful name is just plain cruel 😠
