Tickle my ears....

right - i have an extensivish download list -however i'm always looking for new tracks - good classics or oldies that i can listen to when i'm on the net, doing housework, on the exerxise bike, cookign dinner etc etc.

I love Indie and rock music, a bit of dance - love anything really!

I have all sorts ranging from Killers, Stereophonics, Goo Goo Dolls, to Sugarbabes, Kelis, Skunk Anansie, Annie Lennox, U2, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd,
Any ideas.....

Well, here are my recommendations of newish acts!!

1. Anything by Air!!
2. The soundtrack to the film "Lost In Translation"
3. Mr Scruff - Keep It Unreal (funky/jazzy/dancey/samples)
4. Hot Chip - The Warning (you prob know their popular song "Over and over") - dancey indie.
5. White Stripes - White Blood Cells (garage-rock, just a great album)
6. The Long Blondes - Someone to drive you home (female singer, punky indie)
7. Arcade Fire - Funeral (beautiful indie/lo-fi sounding, male and female singers)
8. British Sea Power - Open Season (indie/rock)
9. The Libertines - Up The Bracket (their first album before they went all silly, really catchy songs)
10. Raconteurs - Broken Boy soldiers (Jack White from the White Stripes side project, very "classic rock" sounding)
11. The View - Hats off to the buskers - Out soon, but I'm sure you can download it now shhh! 😀 Meant to be really good, indie - bit like the Libertines
