My Poetry - Giving Up

I have an hidden talent, to you they may not be very good but they are to me. I just thought I would share some of my poems. Please do not copy them without my permission they are copyright material.

Giving Up.

Each day that goes by,
I keep asking myself why,
Why did I fall in love with this guy
Who couldn't commit, I know the reasons why;

There are questions that need answering,
But they always remain the same,
Unanswered, but then I suffer the pain,
With nothing else to gain;

Why do I put up with the life that you give,
Surely there is more life for me to live,
You can't give me the love and support I truly need,
All I seem to get is heartache I don't deserve;

I can't live my life with you anymore,
It's too much pain for me to take,
I want to be with you always,
But this is something I just can't take.

So I open my fingers and let you slip away,
When you've made your decisions in your life,
please come back and show me you care,
My love won't fade it will always be there.

When you have feelings inside it does help to turn them into poetry they all disappear.
