Decorum on the Forum

Hey everyone, I want to just run down something I feel is important to bring up once in a while, and would like you all to just have a read of what I have to say, feel free to add replys, feedback is always good.

I feel that this forum group is very close knit, there are alot of good friendships formed from being a member here, which is fantastic! however, there are some members that feel the need to be rude, sarcastic and other wise downright disrespectful of other people and their postings. I am saying this now, this is NOT acceptable behaviour and could result in a ban from this site, we can find your IP addresses and stop you from joining under another name. We hav'nt had to do this yet, but it's there as a warning, we CAN do it if neccesary.

Another point I want to bring up, we mods and Admin are very approachable and if you have the slightest problem with someones post, then I want you to know that you can freely contact us without any sort of comeback on yourself, all matters are dealt with discreetly and no names mentioned in sorting these problems out.

What I want people to remember is sometimes this forum can be a way of elevating pressures of every day life, depression suffers/Post natal suffers and other walks of life find it theraputic to post on here and get advice back from people who have experienced these things first hand. Please be respectful of posts, if you don't think they are worth reading...then, don't read them, but certainly don't belittle the Original poster!

I think that covers all bases for now, and I hope from here on in, we eliminate any nastiness from new users of this site..

Lovely, it's nice to know bitching is discouraged. That's one of the reasons I stick with this forum coz everyone is so cool with each other 😎

nice to jog peoples memories of how to behave- it is sad that people feel the need to behave inappropriately.

I just want to add, it would be very boring here if we all thought alike and had the same opinions, let's all respect each other's differences and maybe even learn from other people sometimes! I know I have already here that's for sure!

Also remember that things may be taken in a way that they aren't meant to be... it's hard to read emotions when reading a post so try to read what you've written before it's posted and see if it's coming off in a way that you don't mean for it to be. But DON'T be afraid to post opposing opinions as long as you're not being disresectful toward each other... it can be done 🙂
