get kids cooking

Hi, I am researching ideas for methods in which children can be taught how to cook?

I would value any opinions on an audio CD that with supporting cue cards would help parents and children engage together whilst cooking fun and nutritional meals. It would be an activity that would encourage time spent away from the television/dvd/computer and actively involve children in an educational and fun manner.

Any opinions/suggestions/criticisms/ideas would be extremely welcomed?
