My BF told me something horrible from the radio news today
Allegedly a mother in California duck taped her baby's binky (passifier) to her mouth because it kept falling out. Tragically the baby died. I don't know where in CA and can't find anything on it yet. Supposedly they are not sure if they should charge the mother for it.... What??!! as a mother, she couldn't guess what might happen??!!

I know, I really thought twice about even posting it. I've just done a search to see if I could find out more about it and nothing came up. I can't imagine if that woman loved her child what she must be going through right now, but c'mon!!! common sense people, I know we all have atleast a little of it in us. Let's all just say some prayers and good wishes to those who will suffer so much from the loss of this little baby.

fliping heck people r so dum. that poor baby what on earth posesses these people. makes me so angry
that poor baby, how long wud it take for her to put the dummy back in the baby's mouth, not very long 2 seconds maybe, some people are just so bone idle, and now she lost a child because of this how sad!

I remember when Aaralyn was sick as a baby and her nose was so stuffy she had to breath through her mouth and she kept spitting out the binky, at that point she was so little that she couldn't put it back in by herself, poor little thing was so miserable I just sat there with her so that I could put her binky in for her when she spit it out (she would have been mmore miserable with out it) I only remember thinking "if I ever have another baby, they are not getting a binky" so we wouldn't have to go through that again. Never thought, hmmmm, maybe I can just tape it to her mouth and be on my way"
George had a dummie until he found how to put his fingers in his mouth, I used to literally sit infront of his moses basket sticking it back in while he drifted off to sleep, I would have never TAPED it onto him. Not only would it be dangerous, it would cause pain taking it off!!
