Happy Summer Solstice Everyone!

Woo Hoo, summer is finally here! It is a gorgeous day in RI, USA it's 8:20am, my babygirl is still sound asleep (had a great afternoon swimming and wore herself right out 😀 ) So I am enjoying a cup of coffee, and getting ready to go sit in the sunshine on the porch with the dogs. I love summer!
I hope every one has a great first day of summer and it continues to be a great summer 🙂

A few of my friends (childless ones might I add! lol) Stayed up all night for the summer sunrise.

And now its raining! lol

Ha! Don't cha just miss those days!? Actually I really don't LOL... got all the "staying up all night times" out of my system in my 20's... that is one advantage to having a child later in life (is mid 30's later in life? 🤔 LOL) I did promise Aaralyn that we would stay up all night to see the next meteor shower with her (we accidently fell asleep for the last one)... she's really into "space things, meteors, ect.." at the moment. Hope the rain turns into sunshine for you guys soon... although a nice relaxing rainy day is nice sometimes too

its a beautiful day here in North Yorkshire. got my washing out on the line and dry within 2hrs 😀 supposed to rain though. james (my dp) is playing cricket this evening so fingers crossed it stays nice for him 🙂

Getting ready to put mine out now (laundry that is)... It's been a while since I've been a member of a forum (used to belong to alot of animal rescue forums when I was bigger in fostering and finding homes for bassets and any bull type dogs (staffies, APBT, ect..) but since I've had my daughter, it's not as easy to do the dog fostering any more... it's nice to be on a forum with alot of nice people again, my whole point being, I keep running back to check the posts cuz it's fun LOL and I'm not being so productive today 😊 so going to put some more laundry in and hang some out, catch ya'll lata

🙁 its raining here lo was nce this morning though

we've got our front room window open, listening to the birds singing and watching the sun go behind the houses in front of ours. It's sooo quiet and peaceful...and yep the kids are in bed hehe 😉 x

Hey make the best of it! If you can, sit around and snuggle and watch movies, that's always great for a yucky rainy day. I won't rub it in and tell you that it's still beautiful here (sunny and breezy, in the 70's), oh woops sorry 😊 . I'll be home cleaning my own apartment today while Aaralyn is with her daddy if that makes ya feel any better... no time to sit around and watch movies.
