My dog is at the vets tomorow

🙁 She is been spade have to take her in at 8am in the morning and pick her up at 5pm, feel so mean 🙁

Awww, she'll be ok, and please don't feel mean, IMO, it is a good thing you are doing for her. It's much healthier, no unwanted litters, no heats 2 or 3 times a year (for you to have to deal with, also) I have an 11 year dog who was never spayed because she is allergic to anestesia (found out when she had surgery on her paw as a lil pup) It's so frustrating for her and me when she goes into heat, and now she has tumors on her breasts which may not have happened had she been spayed. You are a great dog mom for having her spayed! 😀 We'll all send her lots of good puppy wishes and vibes from the US 😀

she will be fine hun. My doggie was in last Friday to be done and she is still leaping about (i don't know how she isn't in pain) I'm worried she will burst her stitches but she hasn't so far.

You are not been you are doing th best thing for her- if she was to have puppies you would be mean putting her through that.

Hope she makes a speedy recovery and so does your bank balance

she will. Goldie did anyway she was pleased to see me. Be prepared for her not wanting to eat tomorrow night- I got a tin of meat for Goldie as a treat (usually has dried food) but she didnt want it- just wanted to cuddle up 😉

She'll forgive ya! and like Alex said, she'll bounce right back. All of my animals other than Cory have been spayed or neutered and I know here in the states there is a horrible problem of over breeding and over population in the shelters, so you won't have to worry about her accidently gettin' out there and gettin' herself in some trouble 😛 .

it is a good thing to get her spayed. its a routine op and she will be fine. getting her done has many health benefits. a few days and all will have been fogotton xxx

I took her this morning she was scared abd crying when I left my poor baby 🙁 , any way have to ring up at 3pm and should be able to pick her up at 4pm 😀

awwwwwww bless her. it is better for her in the long run. just give her lots of attention when shes home and she'll be fine. oh and a few treats 😀

I remember when we took Roxie, she hated the Lampshade on her head more than anything else! She was a bit sick afterwards but was fine within a day or so!

thats what Goldie hates and isn't it sore when they run into the back of your legs

Yep! She was always taking out our legs!

She was a crafty one though, we had a child gate on the stairs to stop her getting up (we had no kids then) and she would wiggle her head through the bars with the lampshade on and then pull really hard back and it would fall off!

Oh the lampshades, does she have to wear one. My bassett hound had one twice for eye surgery... now mind you, this was a hound dog with legs about 2 inches tall and his nose always to the ground, he used to get it stuck in the dirt, poor thing. And yes, hurts like 😠 to have them bang into the shins or the calves! More kisses to Mindy (right?)
