Teen mums... My point of view...

Upon reading a few of the replys on a post about people looking down on teen mum's alot of your views are so ...I can't find the word 😊

The people that 'feel sorry for us', and I know your not being patronising ladies, cos I totally understand what you mean...

But I just wanted to tell you that, including myself, all the 'teen mums' I know are in a stable relationship and 70% of them have made a home with their partners and love being mums.

Also (again like myself) they planned it, it's what they wanted!... 🙂

I don't believe it's about age...it's about maturity and you don't have to be over 20 (not a teen) to have that...

Don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, just want to put my 2p's worth in...as ya do! lol 😉

P.S. Just wanted to add, that the 'teen mums' that I know who aren't with partners left them because they where complete idiots not capable of looking after a child let alone themselves...which is VERY mature imo...x

well said hun totally agree with ya there! 😀 😀

Well said i think everyone has their own thoughts and opinions on teen mums, but as you stated it all boils down to maturity as long as the children are loved and safe who cares about age. 😀

i agree with u all..there are folk in their 20s 30s and 40s not capable of been parents,as long as a child is loved and cared for ,is ,imo, all that matters xx

i completely agree hun.

when i had jami i was 21. went to weekly weigh in and the HV was checking jami over. looking at her arms, legs, back and head. my mum was with me and asked what she was doing. she was like 'we have to be sure' anyway afterwards i was talking to her and she asked how old i was and i said 21. she was like ' oh i thought you were only 18. my mum said' is that why you were checking the baby over? cause you didnt trust her if she had been a teen?' 😲 i couldnt believe it.

dont think it matters how old you are as jo-jo says. it depends on maturity

my sister had a baby last january. she was 34. she felt she wasnt mature enough before

i totally agree with you hunni i am 20 with 3 girls and i know people in there 30s that have children who are not very well looked after and have hardly anything and when i feel a bit down coz i havent got the money to get my girls everthing they want my mum always says my girls should think themselves lucky coz they have got alot more than most of the kids round here and there more settled and in routines and are very loved she always tell me when they grow up they will realise what good parents they have compared to what some have like you said hunni it boils down to muturaty x
