im soooo scared

Hi..I fall over last Monday and i got tuck to hospital by ambulance i torn all the ligament in my knee so they sent me home with crutches and a splint on my leg...i noticed my ankle was double the size of my other one and it was turning blue so i went back to hospital and now there saying i have blood clot in my leg and i'm so scared now..i had to have a injection in my tummy and i have to have another one today and a scan on my leg tomorrow...cause i didn't want the injection in my tummy they said if my blood clot breaks up it can travel to my heart and i could die..Now im so scared its going to break up and kill me..i keep thinking Jessica is going to grow up without a mummy and I'm making myself sick thinking it..I was thinking about writing her letter telling her how much i love her and how much she means to me..Am i been daft?? Am i going to be fine..Hope someone can reassure me

sound like you have had a bad few days. I have no experiences in this but I would get the injection hun and do what the Doctors recommend (I know it doesn't sound nice getting an injection there but surely if it helps it has got to be a good thing) if writing a letter to Jessica makes you feel better than do it- although Im sure you wont need it.

I'm sure you will be fine hunni. I had that injection daily to avoid bloodclots while i was in hospital. It just stings a bit hun it really isnt that bad. Sending you lots of 😘

I am sure you will be fine hun but do make sure you have the injections. Like hipmomma I had to have one when I was in hospital with my varicose veins and only stings a bit.

im sure you will be ok hunni it must be very worrying for you bless ya. just do the things they say you need to and im sure you will be ok. Please keep us informed 😘

2 Soluble Asprin. It's the first thing Paramedics give on arrival to a heart attack patient and my grandad takes it when he has Angina attacks as it thins the blood (and to hopefully disperse clots/blockages).
