What kitchen blender is better?
Hello, what kitchen blender is better for blending baby puree until completely smooth?
For really smooth baby purée, you want something with a strong motor and good blade design more than anything. We found a standard high-powered blender worked better than some of the “baby-specific” ones.
Also, adding a bit of the cooking water (or milk) while blending makes a big difference to getting that super smooth texture.
If you’re making small batches, a hand blender can work too — but for really silky purees, a proper jug blender usually gives better results.
For baby purées, I'd look for power and blade quality rather than a specific brand. A blender with at least 800–1000W usually produces a much smoother texture, especially for vegetables, meat, and fruits.
If you're considering brands, Ninja, Vitamix, and NutriBullet are all excellent for getting very smooth purées. If you only make small portions, an immersion (stick) blender can also work well, but a countertop blender generally gives the smoothest results.
Whatever you choose, adding a little breast milk, formula, water, or broth while blending can help achieve a silky consistency
