Single parent dating site?
Being a single parent, I’ve been out of the dating game for quite a while, and I’m finding it hard to know where to start. Between work, parenting, and everything else life throws at me, I barely have time to meet new people, let alone figure out which dating platforms are actually worth my time. I’ve come across ParentFlirt and Single Parents Canada, and they both seem promising since they cater specifically to people like me, other single moms and dads who understand the realities of parenting.
Has anyone here tried these sites? Are they active enough to actually meet someone local? How do they compare to mainstream dating apps like Tinder or Bumble when it comes to finding a serious relationship versus just casual connections? I also worry about scams or fake profiles—are these sites well-moderated?
Most importantly, how do you balance dating while being a full-time parent? I don’t want to introduce someone too soon to my child, but I also don’t want to stay single forever. Would love to hear from other single parents who have been through this! Any advice or experiences to share?
