You'll not believe what my son did this morning!!!!! ARGH!!!
So, went into the kids bedroom this morning, ok in fairness they had been awake a while (I'm on my own with them now for the first time since my op so everything is still a bit difficult!)
I notice not a lot of wee in Josh's potty, and when questioned he pulled out a soaking wet flannel, which apparantly he found under his bed, and he had gone on to "clean" his bedroomn with wee!!!!! 😛
He is up there with a roll of kitchen roll having been told to clean anything that he put wee on, I know I am going to have to do it again properly, but I think he should feel that it is his mess and he should clean it up.
I just can't understand why on earth he would do it! He knows wee is a dirty thing, and that it goes in the toilet, he certainly hasnt done it because he thinks thats what you are supposed to do.
I can only assume it is attention thing, I cant do anything with them, and while their dad has been home he has been quite focused on looking after me. It is just the last thing i need, I cant get on the floor and clean a wee ridden carpet, just not possible at the moment. Its going to have to wait untill hubby gets home to be done properly.
Just, ARGH!! what???? 😬
omg 😲 dont worry hun kids do these things sometimes just close the door and leave it till hubby home 😀
Most definitely an attention seeking thing - little monkey!!
My kids played me up for a few days when I was post op cos they knew I couldnt run around after them - thankfully I'm back to full strength now!! lol
x
OMG 😲
We once found Charlotte playing in the toilet water 🤢 but fortunately there was no wee in there.
Sounds like attention hun, never mind kids do strange things. I'm sure we did it as kids (well maybe not wiping wee everywhere but you know what I mean).
kids will be kids hunni my 2nd dd once trook off her nappy and empited the entire contents all over her head and down her legs GROSS lol she had to be sat in the bath for ages lol and it stank
the only good thing i can say is her skin was nice and soft lol
hope u better soon and things improve with time
xxx
interesting how half an hour on his own (made him eat his breakfast in there, i was fuming!!) and then about an hour of cleaning up all the mess he made, had a noteable effect on improving his behaviour the rest of the day.
Attention seeking behaviour + no attention = no more attention seeking behaviour!!!
lol...looks so simple in black and white!
😜
lets hopet did the trick thn hunni and doesnt have the opposite effect nex time he wants some attention sometimes the best layed plans come back to bite u in the butt bless ya
xxxx
oh bless 😜 obv not v funny to you tho...i think i wud have gone spare 😲
i know i should not laugh but could not help my self
sorry!!!
lol...a few hours on it is funny, but at the time.... ðŸ˜
ah well, they do these things and tis life, gonna start emptying his potty when we go to bed!!
It's such hard work sometimes! 😢
The other day my 3 year old woke up in a TERRIBLE mood. And I MEAN TERRIBLE!!
She basically would have a screaming fit for about half an hour where nothing would quieten her, it would be about anything from me putting the wrong jeans on her, to what I gave her for breakfast, to the fact the baby was looking at her. You know? and then less than 10 minutes after one screaming fit had stopped, the next would start.
We then made the stupid decision to go shopping. 3 year old ended up in the push chair and broke the brand new Quinny cosy toes we had bought for the baby (who would normally go in the pushchair but was being carried because 3 year old was being so badly behaved!)
She was being so screamy and badly behaved people refused to get in the same lift as us!
I ended the day in absolute tears. 😢
The next morning my 3 year old would not give me a cuddle in bed like she usually does, would not even look at me for half an hour or so after she had got up. Turns out it was because she was so ashamed of herself! In the end I cuddled her and she lay still in my arms for ages, which she never does and said:
"Naughty girl has gone away now mummy. Good girl is here. I am sorry mummy." 😘
You can't be cross then can you?
I gave her the "I always love you, even when you are naughty." talk.
A few weeks later I was telling a friend and had a really big laugh about it. Glad these things are worth a good laugh afterwards, even if, at the time, they are so awful!
oh dear at least his room is sterile now lol
