Back and survived!!!!!! (god i hurt tho!!)

I'm back..yes I know I wasn't gone long!

Had my operation yesterday at just before nine, luckily for me i was first on the list so didnt really have time to get myself worked up to much!

Dont even remember falling asleep, first thing i remember after is being moved onto a ward bed because it hurt!

They manage to do it keyhole, so i have four holes all pretty small, and in fact the big one is in my belly button so that wont show anyway.

Operation was apparantly very smooth, although the surgeon did say i had enough gallstones to make a necklace!! lol

I am feeling fine, allbeit very sore and delicate. Hubby is being fantastic. Showed my little boy my tummy so he would understand why he had to be careful. He said the doctors were very clever and he was happy i had a fixed tummy now! bless him, it was a bit confusing for him tho, understanding how making holes in my tummy was a good thing, i just figured he was old enough to have the basics explained to him.

I'm functioning on the basis that tomorrow will hurt less than today and things will just keep getting better! (plus i got to eat malteesers today!! :D)

Thanks to all who gave me their support and kind words before i went in, I think it really helped to keep me calm before the op.

Like you say recovery won't be easy but each day will be easier and they stones can't cause you continuous pain anymore 😀

My war wounds! (dont they look neat!) My tummy is all swollen, but the pain is far less today, and i got a striaght 8 hours sleep, which amazed me, i dont even remember the last time i slept that long! lol

Have got up for some well behaved breakfast before i go back to bed for some well behaved rest! haha

Coughing still friking hurts tho! Hope everyone has a good day and is well etc. Might pop my head back in this evening for a natter! xXx
