14 yr girl. Stuck in the middle

Hi all I'm new to JP. Found this site as searching for help. My 14 yr old daughter is obviously going through the dreaded teenage years so I'm trying to be patient with her and let her have more freedom and responsibilities but gradually. My husband (stepfather) is lot more firm than me and I often find myself in the middle of the argument trying to please both! Any advise on how to handle would be appreciated as I'm totally fed up and feel like the situation cod damage all our relationships. Thanks in advance

It's totally normal to feel stuck at 14—you're not a kid anymore, but not fully independent either. Try to focus on what you can control: build good friendships, explore your interests, and talk to someone you trust when things feel overwhelming. You're growing, and this phase won't last forever.
