Early Gender Tester Kit - Would you use it?
Have a look at the link below about an early gender tester kit which you can use to find out your babys sex as early as 6 weeks gestation.

What do you think? Would you use it?
xxx
In theory I would use it as I am the most impatient person in the world! I didn't care what sex Millie was and if we had another I still wouldn't care but I would be desperate to find out. In reality I wouldn't pay that much to find out something that I could find out for free at my 20 week scan.
I actually think that this test is wrong. In some areas hospitals will not tell you the sex at 20 weeks because of the risk of late abortions if the baby is the 'wrong' sex. Finding out at 6 weeks will allow people even longer to decide if their baby is the 'right' flavour. I do think that the technology should be made available to allow screening for genetic diseases which only affect one sex, but I do not think it should be available to everyone.
Appologies if that makes no sense, not feeling that well today 🙁
I think that testing such things during pregnancy is pointless and could lead to disappointment.
On a connected topic...I don't believe that any 'tests' should be done during pregnancy, unless there is a very good medical reason.

I havent read the article yet but do think it is wrong!!
i think you should have the choice, but if that choice means then a decision is made on whether you keep the baby or not because its not the sex you wanted, then No it shouldn't be allowed.
I did find out the sex of my baby at the 20 week scan, just coz i wanted to know what to buy. It made no difference to me what sex it was, its just i don't like surprises as i like to plan things (i'm a virgo). 🙂
