me me me it is all about me

Hello ya’ll!
I am Amanda. And here to share with you the chronicles of my IVF journey. Hope this won’t be that boring as I am not a writer by any means and the sole purpose of my posts is that it will help to realize everything I am going through and to declutter my thoughts I guess. As it is a very time and money consuming thing especially when you are one of those who count more on the second impression of the clinic but not on the reputation or something. Although my clinic is reputable and all of that, I think that it is more important to be sure that you can afford the treatment rather than put yourself in debt for the sake of getting pregnant in the clinic near you. It makes me really angry when I think that I actually am not that wealthy as I would want to be and that I am obliged to do more work than it’d be necessary in a case of my wealth and stuff.
Ok this is me talking about things that do not matter.
I am just trying to comfort myself because I have noticed myself worrying a lot about the clinic of my choice and whether it was a right decision. I am really worried about the positive result as it is not the first time I am heading abroad for ivf.
Anyways.
Ivf egg donation 3 rd round begins.

Hello and welcome 🙂
Good luck with you journey! Hope to see more updates! Sorry for your previous experience! Fingers crossed this is your last and the most successful attempt out of them all!
Wishing you the best of luck!
Xoxo

Thank you a lot, yeah, I actually had a pretty much an unpleasant experience in Spain before, had to refuse continuing on after they collected 3 egg cells from their donors each time or at least they just told me that which was still stupid and impolite. I have paid also 3 times more the amount than I was expecting to.

Sorry to hear that but none of us is protected from anything of that sort, but we still can hope that everything will be fine! And I hope that with all of that experience you will be better at deciding and finding what’s best for you. now as you have the example of a bad clinic you can compare your new one to the old one and make some conclusions.
But it is better to have some guarantees.

Hello janedaw! Sorry you got those unlucky attempts.. and spent quite a sum of money for that.. and all in vain. Hope you have more faith in the clinic you've started now. As far as I got it you had both previous attempts in Spain, right? And where do you go now? I suppose the prices there might be quite reasonable if you decided on that even taking into account that you would have sufficient fllight expenses. Btw, how long does it take to get an egg donor? Sorry for that many questions.. you may answer them if you feel not up to.. Anyway wish you all the best and good luck with your upcoming ivf round. Keep us posted

I've heard that it may take a long time to have a success with IVF. What is your doctor saying? What are your chances? I know that it is pretty pricy. So, is there a need to waste your money? May be you should go for surrogacy? I've never tried the IVF, that's why so many questions. When I found out that I was unable to give birth, I knew that I would adopt. That's what I did. But now we are thinking of one more baby. And, I guess, we will go for the surrogacy. I'm looking for a medical center at the moment. I'm also ready to go abroad, you know. We are not rich at all. That's why we are looking for some cheaper options.

Hello dear! I wish you best of luck with your 3rd attempt of ivf! They say that with each next try chances to get pregnant increase. I hope this will work for you and you will become a happy mom! I've been in ttc for 8 years already. This number seems so huge to me! I know that some women are trying to conceive even longer. But these 8 years were so tough for us to live through. I'm also looking into ivf using donor eggs. I believe this option will help me and my husband to become parents. This is our last chance. We put our hope in it. I wish you good luck dear! I hope you will update us with great news very soon!

The headaches are awful but all too common I'm afraid. Keep drinking lots of water and try a couple of paracetamol with one ibuprofen (ibuprofen should be ok to take at this point but check with your clinic) it's the only combo that works for me, in general. I think your doctor is right prescribing you some pills. Is this your first ivf cycle? Keep positive attitude and everything will be alright. Wish you all the best.

hi there dear. I am really sorry for that. just plz keep pattience. be calm. everything is going to be alright soon. don't take tension. There are many other ways as well. Don't worry about anything. Be calm.

Hi there! I’m sorry to hear your story. I still think you’ve got a chance. Also, with so many clinics available these days, in the States and outside (though I prefer the latter), I don’t think IVF or Surrogacy need to be thought of as super expensive procedures. Where are you getting the treatment? I mean are you in the States? If so, I think you have all the right to say this. Clinics in US can cost you an arm and a leg. Anyway, I wish you a very best of luck, honey. Keep us updated about the progress.

Hey ! You are a solid young lady . I wish you all the best for your third IVF attempt. Have you been getting IVF treatment from the same clinic ? I would like to share some tips for a successful IVF attempt. The most important thing is to have a healthy routine. Meditation and healthy diet will help you the most in this case. You must get all the negative feelings out of your mind. It is also important to keep your caffeine consumption low. I hope that this works out for you. My prayers are with you. Keep us updated xx

Hello ladies.Pregnancy is a most sensitive time in a woman’s life, and my hope is that with better options than IVF, women can experience theirs not with dread, but with great expectation.I was making decisions out of fear and other unruly feelings rather than out of a clear mind that was capable of weighing the risks and benefits to all persons involved, including any new human life that may be created in the process. I believe every life is precious, no matter how small, and I know that, for women who want to get pregnant, this belief is vivid. To best serve these women, we should push for technologies that don’t lead infertile women to more fears, increase risks to their health, or force them to experience the all-too-common and very tragic loss of a child.

I am really sorry for your condition. I know this is not your fault. wherever these things happened. We just don't know what to do with us. This is really overwhelmed and devastated situation for us. Well just be calm dear. We can't do anything else. Just be sure that you'll be patient and keep calm. Best of luck for future dear. I hope I helped you.

Hello janedaws

I have read your post, and I want to tell you that it is superb. Even though you said that you are not a writer, I suggest that you to consider becoming one. Your post is as good as the ones I read which are written by experts. Back to the topic, I want to support you that IVF journey is a good one because it guarantees you a child when you can’t conceive on your own. The trouble is that it is damn expensive and often it makes people go into debts for the sake of having children. However, I think the procedure is just expensive in the US and Canada. I have been doing a round of research, and I have discovered that there are countries in Europe where one cycle of IVF will cost you exactly a quarter of what you would spend in the US or Canada. More so, you will get the necessary travel documents meaning that you will be able to carry your baby to any country without a problem. So, my dear, I think the procedure is becoming more affordable each passing day. In fact, as scientists continue discovering more things, it is evident that the cost of the service is bound to come down more. It means that in a few decades to come, the service will be affordable and will help to solve the infertility problem once and for all. Notice that many countries are licensing the service and it is just a matter of time, and you will be able to access it at your doorstep. So let’s keep on encouraging research in this area.
