Grandparenting with step-grandparents: conflicts.

I was just wondering if anyone else goes through this. From my perspective, there is jealously and hurt feelings as we have two grandmothers, two grandfathers, a step-grandmother (my ex-husband's wife) and a step-grandfather, as well as a great grandmother, and only one grandchild to go around. Personally, I find it offensive that his wife would call herself grandma, but that's just my little green monster coming out. Poor child has to learn so many different variations of grandma just to tell us all apart and she's only four.

From my daughter's perspective, it must be very frustrating to try to share her daughter with so many people to avoid hurt feelings, especially during holidays. She is truly amazing though, of course. I don't know how she does it. I don't remember being that put together.
